Two Nasdaq products, Data Link and Solovis API, redesigned. Here’s the research, the directions I tried, and the before and after.
I lead design and strategy for enterprise financial platforms and consumer products, turning dense, high-stakes data into interfaces people trust at a glance.

Design that earns trust.
I translate complex, data-heavy systems into interfaces people can use with confidence. My work spans institutional finance, healthcare and consumer products.
For five years I designed for Solovis, first at Nasdaq and then as a standalone company. Most of the job was taking things away: fewer steps, tables you can actually scan, and components engineers can build without guessing.
Studio 8 is my own practice, where I work directly with founders and product leaders on design strategy.
Solovis is the platform endowments, foundations, pensions and family offices use to monitor multi-billion-dollar portfolios. Nasdaq owned it until Insight Partners acquired it in October 2025.
Led design for Solovis and other institutional investment platforms, including Data Link and the Solovis API portal.
My independent practice, for startups and enterprise clients including Amazon, Intuit and Neiman Marcus.
An AI-powered healthcare platform built to prevent mental health misdiagnosis.
A knowledge bank chatbot, now in production in Nasdaq’s enterprise tools.
An AI trip planner for client visits and sales prospects, also in production.
I mentor 2 to 3 UIC design students a year, with portfolio reviews and career prep.

A portfolio analytics platform that had been growing for ten years. As the senior designer on the redesign, I helped new users find their way on day one, without slowing down the experts.

A corporate bond trading platform. I was the sole designer from the start: the website, the web app, the trading-station charts and the AI analytics.
